A romantic Chinese New Year 1992 comedy about the three Shang brothers. Eldest brother Shang Moon (黃百鳴 Raymond Wong Pak-ming) is an aphilandering businessman who treats his hideous yet hard-working wife like dirt. He even booted out his wife out of the house for his mistress (陳淑蘭 SheilaChan Suk Lan) to stay in. However, he soon gets the tables turned on him when his wife (吳君如 Sandra Ng Kwan-yue) leaves and become a glamorous karaoke hostess.
Middle brother Shang Foon (周星馳 Stephen Chow Sing-chi) is a Disc Jockey playboy who tries to score with as many girls as possible. He gets into a bizarre relationship with a fan (張曼玉 Maggie Cheung Man-yuk) obsessed with movies that she constantly acts out characters on dates, until one day, he suffered mental breakdown, temporary.
Youngest brother Shang So (張國榮 Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing) is an obviously gay dance instructor. He is continually at odds with a family cousin (毛舜筠 Teresa Mo Shun-kwan), an obvious butch lesbian. Hilarity ensues.
