The family of a murdered Birmingham businessman tell of their fears that his killers will never see justice. Keith Murrain was killed in Jamaica in 2014 and buried in a sugar field after the father of three had his throat cut by his assailants according the detectives on the island.

A carer stole thousands of pounds from a disabled pensioner before splashing the cash on an 'extravagant' lifestyle - including a pre-Christmas spending spree. Sofia Smith, aged 33, targeted the 70-year-old woman and stole over £34,000. She was jailed for two years.

Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street believes bus services across Birmingham and the Black Country are as good as anywhere in the country despite concerns over traffic issues. In September, £70m was spent on improving connectivity in Birmingham.
