Israel and Palestine... Through different eyes !!!

More than sixty years of turmoil... and still there is little to suggest that the situation between Israel and Palestine is likely to improve. To the contrary... indications are that things are going to get a heck of a lot worse... and there is no telling how many innocent lives will be lost in the process !

I don't claim to have all the answers, as far as resolving the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict is concerned. What I do know though, is that unless the wrongs of the past are acknowledged and atoned... the likelihood of a peaceful coexistence between the Israeli and Palestinian People will be nothing more than a pipedream !

The International Community... through the Balfour Declaration, and the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine... are responsible for the creation of the Conflict which exists today... and as an International Community, we need to be united in working toward a peaceful resolution... which ensures that all who suffered as a result of past actions, are compensated for their loss !!!

Children are the hope of the future... and through proper education, and encouraging them to practice tolerance and respect toward others... they may be able to experience 'a peace' that we of the older generation have thrown aside, through nothing but our own ignorance and stupidity !
