Research finds abuse persists after relationship ends

In the aftermath of abusive relationships, when a victim has managed to escape, many believe the danger is over. But in some cases, the torment only shifts. The centre for women's economic safety has found the vast majority of victim-survivors it surveyed are subjected to financial abuse that persists long after they have left the relationship.
