Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) is an authorised body incorporated to establish and promote environment-friendly urban regeneration projects on vertical principles. It is located in Lahore, Punjab, and aims to drive urban development in Lahore’s central business district, fostering economic growth and real estate opportunities. CBD Punjab has initiated a project to establish Lahore’s first planned downtown. The project is named “Downtown Lahore” and aims to develop high-rise buildings for various purposes, including commercial and residential units, to further urbanise the city, bring more economic stability, and play a part in the country’s growth. Muhammad Umer, representative of CBD Punjab, stated while talking to Urdupoint anchor Usman Butt that the project is located near Kalma Chowk, Ferozepur Road, and Main Boulevard Gulberg.
