'Ring of Fire' eclipse elicits joyful cheers across the Americas

Millions in the Americas witnessed a rare "ring of fire" solar eclipse with crescent shadows and cheers from onlookers. In Cancún, hundreds gathered at a planetarium using box projectors, telescopes, and special glasses to view the spectacle, with children excitedly whistling and adults welcoming the eclipse with raised arms.
