Police appeal after park ranger seriously injured by off-road bikers in Yorkshire

South Yorkshire Police is appealing for help after a park ranger was seriously injured by off-road bikers.
On Sunday 24 September at 12.30pm, a park ranger was on duty at the reservoir when he was approached by a large group of off-road bikers.
It is alleged that the ranger attempted to stop the riders, during which an altercation occurred and one of the riders is believed to have seriously assaulted the park ranger. The ranger was knocked unconscious and suffered a broken jaw.
