Identity of Burning Man Victim Revealed as Investigation Continues

The exodus of festivalgoers from the Burning Man festival site on Monday continued to experience delays and clashes as attendees faced waits of around five hours to leave Black Rock City. The Pershing County Sheriff reported that some people "lashed out" at each other due to the long wait times and frustration of enduring exhausting conditions over the weekend at the festival. Officials have identified the man who died at Burning Man on Friday as 32-year-old Leon Reece. His cause of death is still under investigation but is not believed to be weather-related. The annual Burning of the Man finale did proceed on Monday evening after being delayed by the extreme weather conditions over the weekend that flooded the site.
