Pupils fled from their lessons where a powerful storm battered classrooms at a school in Thailand on Tuesday afternoon.The powerful squalls slammed into the Kasintorn Saint Peter School in Nonthaburi province on the outskirts of Bangkok while parents were waiting for their children at around 4 pm on August 8.They took shelter inside the school building while they waited for the downpour to die down.The rainstorm left fallen leaves and branches strewn across the carpark.Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are in their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.
