Borgerrio, the city's most colorful festival
On Saturday 24 June, the 15th edition of the unique city festival Borgerrio, in Antwerp, Belgium has taken place. People enjoyed music, sports, animation and a beautiful parade.
Borgerrio is a family-friendly experience festival on the Turnhoutsebaan and its side streets in Borgerhout. Walking through the fair, visitors discover products from all over the world. The 3 kilometer long parade with national and international parade groups is undoubtedly the highlight of the day. In Play-off Plaza on the Laar, children can try out a mix of original attractions and sporting activities such as an obstacle course, race on rollers, sumo wrestling, get airbrush tattoos or even let off steam on an inflatable sports field. Young people can let off steam on the stage at den Drink . New this year is a mystical experience tent on the world market in Eliaertsstraat.
