Tributes have poured in for an airline pilot who died after his hot air balloon plunged hundreds of feet to the ground. Peter Gregory aged 25 was flying over Ombersley in Worcester on Sunday when his balloon suddenly deflated.

Images of hooded men have been released by police investigating the burglary of a 93 year-old woman at her home in Kings Norton. Officers said the incident happened in Halladale at 4am on Friday 2nd June. The offenders left empty handed after neighbours raised the alarm.

Police have seized more than £2 million worth of Class A drugs and charged two men after stopping a van in Solihull. Adrian-Constantin Tirnovan, aged 22, and George-Marius Tirnovan, 27, were arrested and have since been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.
