The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2023 African Cup Of Nations to be held in Ivory Coast next year.
The Eagles defeated Sierra Leone 3-2 to sink the Leone Stars' hope of qualification and seal their spot at the biennial tournament.
Two goals from Victor Osimhen in the 19th and 32nd minutes, put Nigeria comfortably ahead before the 41st minute when Mustapha Bundu penetrated the Nigeria final third, beat Omeruo, and shoot at goal to give the Leone Star hope of coming back.
Williams Kargbo complete the comeback for the Leone Stars before Kelechi Iheanacho restores Nigeria's lead late in the extra time.
