The Northern Territory has lowered its cap on gaming machines in pubs and clubs bringing an end to a nine-month moratorium on new pokies in Alice Springs' community venues. But the announcement has left the door open for approving an additional 20 machines for two venues in the town owned by hospitality giant, Iris Capital.
