Wales headlines 30 May: Pembrokeshire bomb hoaxer jailed

A road in Swansea has been closed after a man was stabbed in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Emergency services were called to Union Street in the city centre at around 3.50 am. South Wales Ambulance service said a man was taken to Morriston hospital for further treatment.

A Pembrokeshire man who posted a fake bomb to an address in Cornwall has been jailed for 2 and a half years. Lee Moody from St Dogmaels, had admitted to causing a bomb hoax and sending a package to cause distress or anxiety. The judge at Swansea crown court told Moody that bomb hoaxes have serious consequences.

Tom Lockyer has been left out of Rob Page’s squad to face Armenia and Turkey after the Luton defender collapsed on the pitch 12 minutes into Saturday’s championship play off final. The hatter’s player of the season was taken to hospital, but has since been pictured celebrating his side’s promotion to the premier league.
