Charles shares about how he ended up homeless in New York City.

oday, I met Charles in New York City. His grandmother had cancer and then two weeks before she passed his mother was diagnosed with cancer. His father gave his life to take care of her. He lost his business and had to sell the two homes they owned.

Most of us walking through a park would never ask a person looking like Charles about their story. Homelessness is a result and not a cause, and everyone has a story.
