Talgarth is hosting a walking festival across the whole of the upcoming bank holiday weekend, with trails to trek and places to explore all across the area. With a number of talks also taking place in the town hall, teaching people all about the local history. Taking place from the 28th of April til the 1st of May.

Caerphilly is hosting its annual food and drink festival, where you’ll find proper Welsh food from around the country all in the town centre. There will be cooking demonstrations and even a few funfair attractions to keep the little ones occupied. Taking place on the 29th April.

Macynlleth welcomes veteran and up and coming comedy acts from around Wales and the world, for its annual comedy festival. It’s now in its 11th year and features acts like Tudur Owen and Kiri Pritchard-McLean, as well as a host of names trying out something new, in this hidden gem festival. There are hundreds of shows taking place over the weekend across a number of venues, from the 28th to the 30th April.
