Our last train from the trip: CSXT grain empties heading west on the Portsmouth Sub. Unfortunately, my scanner was acting up, so I couldn't get the train symbol, but it's somewhere in the G800 series. The power includes a C44-8W, a C40-8 still in Confail paint, and an AC44CW. Around the 01:20
mark, you can hear the horn sound for a private dirt crossing in the distance. It sounds incredible. Nice K5LAR24 horn on this one!
*This was in a rough area, and I don't plan on getting any more shots from this grade crossing. Overall, nice signals, but not-so-nice location. I had some kid come up and ask me for $10 about five minutes before the train came, which made me sort of uncomfortable. I will get shots elsewhere on the Portsmouth Sub from now on.
