For the first time ever, 4,314 women have applied to go on Haj pilgrimage without a 'Mehram', reported ANI. A ‘Mehram’ is a male guardian with blood relation. In October, the Saudi Arabia government announced that Mehram is no longer required to accompany a woman pilgrim from any part of the world. Watch the video to know more.
