Street Law is a 1974 crime/drama film directed by Enzo G. Castellari, with Franco Nero, Giancarlo Prete and Barbara Bach.
Plot: In Genoa, during a bank robbery, the engineer Carlo Antonelli is taken hostage by bandits, beaten up and abandoned in a car. Since the police don't seem very willing to help him, he vows to find the offenders by himself and kill them. Armed with a camera, he manages to catch a young robber, Tommy, in the act; by blackmailing him, he forces him to get him some weapons and to put him in contact, under the pretext of a "coup" to be made, with the worst tools of the underworld. Among these, Antonelli finds his three robbers, discovers their hideout, calls the police: warned, perhaps, by someone from the police station, the criminals flee before the agents arrive. Without giving up and now having Tommy himself on his side, with whom he has made friends, Antonelli pretends to have been kidnapped to force the police to intervene. While the agents scour the underworld, the three bandits, having discovered his refuge, attempt to kill the engineer. In the clash, which takes place in a deserted shed, the criminals die, but Tommy also loses his life.
