A man has died on a Jet2 flight travelling from Antalya in Turkey to Glasgow Airport.

A mid-air emergency was declared when the man became unresponsive and cabin crew members performed CPR for 40 minutes, before he was declared dead.

It is understood the man was travelling alone.

Next up, a Man with a Van business owner from Bearsden and his employee have been fined for fly-tipping and ordered to pay compensation to the council for their clean-up efforts.

Stuart Allison and Steven Hutton were caught dumping household waste in Drumchapel, and were arrested in 2020.

And in other news, the University of Glasgow has announced plans for a new law clinic to support victims of sexual offences.

The Emma Ritch Law Clinic is named after a graduate and activist who died in 2021, and will provide free legal advice and representation from specialist Scottish solicitors.
