This is the moment that Jordanian footballer Baker Kamal Kalbouneh was sent off for a shocking head-high tackle just five seconds into a game.
The 19-year-old forward was lining up for Jordan against Tajikistan in the AFC U20 Asian Cup on Thursday, but his day could not have gone any worse.
As his side got things underway, Kalbouneh raced forward to get on the end of a clipped ball from his team-mate Omar Al Osad but in reality, he always looked second favourite.
In a sheer moment of madness, instead of connecting with the ball, Kalbouneh's raised boot went straight into the back of Mekhrubon Karimov's head, sending the Tajikistan defender tumbling down to the floor in agony.
Slow motion replays show the Jordanian forward had both feet off the ground when his studs made a sickening impact with the defender's head and face.
With Karimov in visible pain, Kalbouneh was immediately given his marching orders by referee Yahya Almulla - a mere matter of seconds into the contest.
Kalbouneh optimistically remonstrated with the referee but to no avail as his side were faced with the prospect of 89 minutes and 55 seconds with only 10-men.
Somehow, Jordan went on to win the match 2-0 despite being a man short for the whole game.
Ali Ahmad Azaizeh put them 1-0 after just seven minutes before Sief Addeen Darwish doubled their lead midway through the first-half.
It was the first group stage game of the competition, with Jordan up against South Korea on Sunday next - without the suspended Kalbouneh.
Kalbouneh's quick dismissal was reminiscent of Vinnie Jones' 'reducer' challenge on Liverpool's Steve McMahon just minutes into the 1988 FA Cup final.
