As football fans Briggs and Louis settle in front of the TV with two crates of lager, a fanatic of the killing kind escapes from prison and holes up in a suburban house, taking its occupants hostage. Called to the scene, Briggs and Louis do a deal - to trade places with the couple. They may be in danger, but why miss the game?
