Written during "The Boat Rocker" days in Raleigh NC 1983. We were voted “Band of the Year” by Spectator Magazine in 1984 (I think it was that year.) We rocked the boat, baby.
A very, very popular song when we played out. I was on drums and singing. Mike Haskins was playing lead guitar and did the cool backup vocals. And Milton Gore played an outstanding pumping bass.
We were all good boys back in those day. We were all very polite to the ladies. Really. No kidding. Mike was married, and still is to the same lovely woman.
