The Royal Football Federation of Madrid (RFFM) plans to make significant changes to the youngest competition, including the creation of four distinct categories: autonomous, preferential, first, and second. For the time being, the Honorary and Third Divisions have been ruled out.
The board of directors of the RFFM received approval of the Modification of the Benjamin Competition at the last General Assembly of the 2014-2015 season to divide the teams into different categories and introduce the dynamics of promotion and relegation as in the higher categories.
To make this significant change, the RFFM consulted with other territorial federations, as well as managers, coaches, delegates, and other bodies in this category.
The document attached below contains all of the changes that will be made, as well as the format of the competition and the areas into which the Community of Madrid will be divided to design the groups. Every venue is also listed.
