On May 20, 2016, we decided to go to Mentawai to shoot a movie, but at that time we didn't know what the idea was. We met a Japanese surfer, Hatsumi, and he introduced a local friend named Harris Smile. We are so lucky that we met such a nice guy at the right time. We just shared our mission. Dan Harris was excited to hear our story, and we started making a short documentary about him and Katiet-Mentawai.
