Measles Outbreak In Mumbai: Toddler Dies In The City; 126 Children Infected With The Airborne Viral Infection

A one-year-old baby died in Mumbai due to measles. There is an outbreak of the viral infection in the city. Nearly 126 children have contracted the disease, civic officials said on November 15, reported PTI. As per the civic body’s bulletin, at least 99 children have been found infected with the viral disease since September and 126 since January this year. BMC has set up a special ward at the Kasturba Hospital for the treatment of the children infected with measles. According to the bulletin, 61 children were admitted to the Kasturba Hospital with measles -like symptoms between November 4 and 14. Watch the video to know more.
