Faithful Breath — Fading Beauty 1973 (Germany, Krautrock/Progressive Rock)
  • last year
A group from Witten (North Rhine-Westphalia), formed in 1967 under the name "Magic Power", soon renamed "Faithful Breath". In 1973, the musicians recorded their debut album Fading Beauty, consisting of three long tracks. The first side of the album is an instrumental "autumn fantasy" in two parts, the entire second side is occupied by a 22-minute epic "Tharsis". The next album "Back On My Hill" was released by the group in the late 70s. In the 80s they changed their style to "hard'n'heavy" and the image to funny Vikings. After releasing several studio albums and a live album in this capacity, they renamed themselves "Risk" and began to play "speed power metal" with progressive elements.
