Turn the Tide on Plastic Pollution
At Bank Sampah Torok Raya, we are committed to ensuring Lombok's beaches are plastic-free. We organise small daily cleaning sessions, collecting the waste that comes in with the tide and preparing it for repurposing and reducing the pollution.
In the past 12 months alone, with a team of just 10 women, Bank Sampah has collected more than 6 tonnes of plastic waste from Lombok's beaches. With your help, we can provide employment to more local women and collect more waste from a wider area, quicker.
