PETA Tube campaign: Animal rights charity run ‘End Speciesism’ adverts on London Underground

Animal rights charity PETA has plastered Tube carriages with posters encouraging veganism to mark its campaign to end speciesism.

The organisation, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), is running adverts on Tube and train lines across the city to mark World Speciesism Day on Saturday, August 27.

Images of animals including mice, chickens and gorillas will look down on commuters on the Bakerloo Line, Central Line, District Line, Jubilee Line, Hammersmith & Circle Line, Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Piccadilly Line, Elizabeth Line, and Victoria Line.

While the adverts will also feature on Croydon Tramlink, Docklands Light Railway, and London Overground services.
