تعد مدن شمال المغرب من أهم المناطق التي لها جمال خاص، حيث معروف عن المغرب وجود أجمل المناظر فيها، بالإضافة إلى أنها تتميز بعادات شعبها التي تجذب على أي زائر لزيارتها،تعد أكبر مدن شمال المغرب هي مدينة أصيلة التي تسمى باسم مدينة أزلية، بالإضافة إلى كون المدينة تعتبر جوهرة المغرب، كذلك يتواجد بالمدينة الكثير من المعالم المهمة مثل قصر الريسوني، وكدية السلطان، وباب القصبة.
كما أن مدينة تطوان تمتلك اسم آخر وهو الحمامة البيضاء كما أن المنطقة تحتوي على الكثير من الحضارة الإسلامية الأندلسية، فمن أهم المعالم التي توجد بها باب العقلية، وجامع سيدي علي، ومسجد الجامع الكبير.
تعتبر مدينة شفشاون هي مدينة تعرف باسم قرون الجبل، ويتواجد فيها الكثير من الأحياء القديمة مثل حي الاندلس، وحي العنصر، وحي السوقية، بالإضافة إلى المعالم التاريخية التي تتميز بها المدينة مثل القصبة، ورأس منبع الماء .
