In South Carolina on the same beach, 2 swimmers were attacked by sharks, within hours of each other on Monday, with one person receiving a “bad bite”, to the forearm.

One of family, Karren Sites, was visiting Myrtle Beach, in South Carolina while on a family vacation, when she said a shark bit her on the arm. Karren Sites was in waist-deep water, with her grandson, Brian just a couple of feet away, at the time of the bite. “I just felt something, I guess, bite me and there was a shark on my arm. I was only in waist-deep water,” she told. “I kept pushing at it, to get it off my arm and it did.”
