Anwar finds it funny that 'frogs' voted in favour of the 'anti-hopping' bill

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said he found it funny that political defectors have voted in favour of the constitutional amendment bill aimed at discouraging MPs from switching parties.

However, in a video uploaded on his Facebook page, Anwar did not name the lawmaker he was referring to.

When the bloc vote on the bill was called yesterday, 209 MPs voted in favour and none against it, far exceeding the two-thirds majority required for constitutional amendments. There were 11 absentees.
