The video filmed at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham and posted on the university's TikTok account has received over three million views. Saint, who is from Jos, Nigeria and came over to the UK to study, had planned his entrance but was not sure whether he would go through with it. It's when he heard his name being called that his doubts dissipated. He said: "As I proceeded to receive my handshake, I was contemplating whether or not to celebrate. "In a matter of seconds, after my name was mentioned, I had remembered all the things I had gone through to get where I was at that moment. "My thoughts triggered an unbelievable confidence which possessed me. I could feel my blood flowing through my arms and feet as they strengthened. "I was able to display my gratitude and I exited the stage feeling achieved" Saint's university experience wasn't easy but he plans on pursuing a Master's degree in a similar scientific field and is also considering a PhD. “Dealing with my personal problems, alongside tackling academic stress was not easy. “Through it all, I am here today with an achievement and a smile on my face. "I'll hopefully end up working with a government or private sector body." The video was filmed on July 11.
