Moment security at Wireless Festival fail to contain HUGE crowd outside Finsbury Park
  • 2 years ago
This is the moment security at the Wireless Festival in London's Finsbury Park were forced to open the gates as huge crowds formed outside the venue. Footage shows festival-goers screaming and falling to the ground as staff tired to contain the crowd. As the gates opened a line of security workers were seen trying to keep people from storming the gates. Many managed to get through in a stampede as security and police officers watched on. There were several reports of people being trampled due to overcrowding and the haphazard crowd control forcing many into narrow passages. It was also reported that many fake tickets were being sold illegally prompting many more revellers to turn up despite being over capacity.
