The strength of the Indian Police Force has increased by 32 percent in the last 10 years i.e. from 2010 to 2020. But women constitute only 10.5 per cent of the entire force of all states and union territories, an increase of barely 7% in 15 years from 3.3% in 2006.

भारतीय पुलिस बल की शक्ति बीते10 साल यानि 2010 से लेकर 2020 तक 32 प्रतिशत बढ़ी है। लेकिन सभी राज्यों और केंद्र-शासित क्षेत्रों के पूरे बल में महिलाओं की संख्या केवल 10.5 प्रतिशत है, 2006 में यह आंकड़ा 3.3% था यानी 15 साल में बमुश्किल 7% की बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
