Treatment to get Costly in Private Hospitals due to GST

GST Council has recently decided to bring many things under the purview of GST. In which room rent of private hospitals has also been included. From July 18, 5 per cent GST will be levied on hospital rooms costing more than Rs 5000 per day, excluding ICU.
