This is very smart on WWE's part because it gets those who may not know who he is and builds him up like they have been doing with Matt. Plus, now people have to watch ECW if they want to see Christian and it'll boost ratings. ECW is going to be a big show. They have Miz/Morrison, Dreamer, Bourne is returning, Natalya Neidhart and Tyson Kid being like Hart Foundation 2, Finaly, Swagger, Jamie Noble and now Christian. For a 1 hour show, I call that a great roster with a lot of good matches.
Had Christian returned on a big show, I think he would have been overlooked because of Smackdown's roster and people may have gotten used to him much like the Jericho return. Make Christian a big deal on ECW and the nsend him to Smackdown.
Also, like the subtle hint at Christian's TNA nickname from Striker when he said this moment became "Instantly Classic".
