Australian Man Uses Forklift to Stop Car Thief

A quick-thinking Australian man stopped a would-be car thief by using a forklift.

Queensland resident Brendan Mills came home on June 5 to discover a 24-year-old woman in the middle of breaking into his car. After the woman refused to exit the vehicle, Mills deployed a forklift to raise the car and keep it airborne until law enforcement could arrive. The suspect was charged with burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

'They didn’t want to get out, they didn’t want a part of that, so I said 'Well, ok, you want to play it that way, I’ve got an alternative option here,'’ Mills later told 7News.
