"Russian Missile strike destroys timber plant in Ukraine's Kharkiv"

A timber plant in Kharkiv was destroyed by a missile strike early Friday (June 3), according to the company owning it. Local authorities did not report any casualties. A fire broke out as a result of the strike, destroying machines, industrial facilities, and burned down timber in the storage yard, local media reported. The company manufactured various wooden products, including windows and roofing, accountant Tetiana Hasan told Reuters.
Why would one bomb such beauty,” she wondered looking at religious icons on display in an office. Kharkiv, Ukraine's second biggest city, had been relatively quiet since Ukrainian forces regained territory around it and pushed back Russian troops earlier this month, enabling rescuers to search for bodies of people buried under the rubble weeks before. Kharkiv suffered heavy bombardment from the very start of the Russian invasion on Feb. 24, which left the city of 1.5 million a wasteland of ruined buildings and debris.
