James Henchmen, often known as Jimmy Henchmen, was an American entertainment record executive and convicted drug trafficker. he was known to beef with G-Unit and 50 cent crew as well as Tony Yayo. this video talks of the east coast west coast situation, specifically, the Tupac quad studio shooting and robbery. there was an altercation with Mazaradi Fox a well. anyway, Henchmen was born in February of 1965 in Harlem New York. He grew up in Flatbush Brooklyn, in an apartment complex called Vanderveer Gardens. His parents migrated from Haiti in the 1960s. They divorced when he was young, leaving his mother to raise five children alone. He would get involved in the music business though, when Henchmen and several friends founded the music conference, "How Can I Be Down" in 1992. Dexter, was another man from Brooklyn. He too, grew up in Vanderveer Gardens, and who meet jimmy at age 13. Rapper biggie smalls used to sell drugs for him at point while he was a youngster. Sometime in or before 1994, Henchman would have a fallout with the rapper, Tupac. Allegedly, Tupac owed henchmen some money for something. Henchman knew that Tupac was broke, but still demanded that the rap legend pay him with cash and not a check. That would spark what would be known as, the infamous quad studio shooting. On November 30, 1994, Tupac was robbed and shot at the Quad Records Studios in Manhattan. It’s alleged, that henchmen paid dexter 2,500 dollars, and was allowed to keep all the jewelry, except for one diamond ring. Henchmen planned to put the diamond in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Cynthia Reid. Stretch, who was Tupac's close friend, and member of the live squad, was giving henchmen the play by play to set up Tupac. while in New York recording verses for a mixtape of Ron G, Tupac was repeatedly distracted by his beeper. Music manager, Jimmy Henchman, reportedly offered him $7,000 to stop by Quad Studios that night. He wanted him to record a verse for his client, Little Shawn. he was unsure, but agreed to the session as he needed the cash to offset legal costs. Tupac was involved in a rape case, and the verdict would be announced the following day. Anyway, He arrived with Stretch and one or two others to the studio. In the lobby, they were approached by three gunmen who demanded their money and jewelry. Stretch and the other, or others, obeyed the commands, but Tupac began cursing at the gunmen, resulting in him being shot five times and robbed of $40K worth of jewelry. He was then dragged into the elevator to safety. Against doctor's advice, Tupac checked out of Metropolitan Hospital Center a few hours after surgery. he secretly went to the house of the actress Jasmine Guy, who had met during his guest appearance on the sitcom, A Different World, in 1993. He would recuperate there. The next day, Tupac arrived at a Manhattan courthouse bandaged in a wheelchair to receive the jury's verdict for his sexual abuse case.
