Nepal mountain guides prepare to fix ropes at Mount Everest summit ahead of climbing season

Standing on the border between Nepal and China, Mount Everest is Earth's highest mountain and a huge draw for climbers from around the world. Ahead of the 2022 season, a team of eight Nepali mountain guides led by record Everest climber Kami Rita Sherpa have the risky job of fixing ropes along the routes to the summit.
