Heavy rain lashes parts of Shivamogga

Heavy rain accompanied by hailstorm lashed parts of Karnataka on March 18. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on March 18 predicted that the low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjoining south Andaman Sea is likely to become a well-marked low-pressure area on March 19.
