Prince George tipped to step up in Jubilee year as Queen eyes evolution of master plan

On Sunday, the Queen marked 70 years on the throne, becoming the first British monarch to reach the milestone. Britain will mark the event with a four-day Platinum Jubilee national party in June and royal author Nigel Cawthorne expects George, who is third in line to the throne and will one day be king, to take a leading role. Mr Cawthorne believes Her Majesty's grandchildren and great-grandchildren will "step up this year" - but especially George, eight, the eldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
