India Approves Two More Covid-19 Vaccines, Anti-Viral Pill Molnupiravir

 On December 27, India cleared two more vaccines & one anti-viral drug in order to further strengthen the fight against Covid-19. The two vaccines cleared by the Indian government are Corbevax and Covovax, tweeted Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. During an emergency, the anti-viral drug Molnupiravir can be used. The Health Minister tweeted that Corbevax is India's first homegrown \"RBD protein sub-unit vaccine.” He added, “It's a hat-trick! It's now the 3rd vaccine developed in India!” Mandaviya tweeted, “Nanoparticle Vaccine, COVOVAX, will be manufactured by Pune-based firm Serum Institute of India.” Molnupiravir, the anti-viral drug will be manufactured in India by 13 companies for restricted use under emergency situation.
