Delhi Riots: Scars Remain For 71-Year-Old Manori Whose House Was Set Ablaze by Mob in February 2020

Earlier in December 2021, one Dinesh Yadav became the first person to be convicted in connection with the northeast Delhi riots of February 2020. He was part of the riotous mob that had attacked, looted, and set fire to 71-year-old Manori's house in Gokulpuri. She was present in the house with her daughter, and two of her grandsons. Manori and her family recount the horror when they had a close encounter with death. She adds that her scars remain intact, even after a year-and-a-half.
