The forensic team and the Bomb Detection Disposal Squad, after preliminary analysis, have ascertained that a “fairly good quantity of high-grade explosives had been used" in the Ludhiana court blast on Thursday.

"High-grade explosives are usually PETN (pentaerythritol tetranitrate) or RDX (Royal Demolition explosive),” a source said.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday accused BJP leaders of loot and scam related to Ram Mandir Trust.

Noting that the probe ordered into Ayodhya land scam is an eyewash, Gandhi demanded intervention of the Supreme Court.
