Cosmos has been gaining value recently, rising over 9% in the last 24 hours, surpassing $23. The token bills itself as a project that aims to solve problems facing the blockchain industry, offering alternatives to the slow, expensive, and often unscalable proof-of-work protocols on the market. Over the past week, Cosmos has picked up 7%, but it still sits far below its all-time high of $44.42. However, the trading volume on Cosmos has fallen 27% in the past week along with its circulating supply falling a fraction of a percent. Currently, Cosmos’ market cap puts it at #28 in the global market at 6.55 billion. At press time, Cosmos was trading at $22.88, up nearly 10% and approaching its 24-hour high.
