Accused of sacrilege bid at Golden Temple beaten to death

A man accused of attempted sacrilege at the Golden Temple in Amritsar has died, police said on Saturday. The man was lynched after he entered the reserved area inside the Sri Harmandir Sahib where the Guru Granth Sahib is kept. Punjab Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has also confirmed that the person apprehended inside the Darbar Sahib in Amritsar has died. According to the police, the man jumped over a railing inside the Golden Temple during the Rehraas Sahib Paath. He then picked up a sword which was kept in front of the Guru Granth Sahib inside the reserved area which is only open to Granthi Sikhs. Watch this video for complete information.
