COVID-19 fragments detected in wastewater in the remote APY Lands

South Australia has recorded 10 cases of COVID-19, with the source of three infections unknown and in a worrying development, fragments of the virus have been detected in wastewater in the remote APY Lands. Health authorities confirmed two of the state's cases are of the Omicron variant.
