People should remain alert at community-level since children would be at risk in case a surge happens, cautioned Odisha Health Director, Bijay Mohapatra on Wednesday (Dec 8) amidst the threat of new Covid variant Omicron. The top health official informed that the pediatric management has been strengthened in the state while healthcare workers are also being trained for the purpose.
